- Does Speakapp have a mobile app?Currently, Speakapp is a Webapp accessible via laptop, desktop, and mobile browsers. It is not a downloadable application.
- Once the sign-up is done, what is the next process for the Therapist?
After signing up, therapists receive an email from Speakapp to verify their account. This verification must be completed
- Once the verification is done, what is the next step for the Therapist?Therapists undergo a selection process. Once their profile is reviewed and approved by the Speakapp Admin, they are onboarded onto the platform.
- Once the Superadmin approves the therapist, can a parent view their profile?No. Therapists must first create packages under the “Manage Packages” section before their profile becomes visible.
- Once the Manage Package is updated, can a parent view the therapist profile?Yes, but the therapist must also update their Roster. Once done, their calendar becomes visible to parents for bookings.
- How to create a Roster?From the Home screen, navigate to the “Roster” tab. This is crucial, as it determines availability for sessions.
- Are roster times fixed?No. Therapists have full flexibility to set multiple daily time slots and session durations based on individual needs.
- Will Speakapp provide teaching aids?Yes, general teaching materials are available to support therapists.
- Can therapists use the materials during sessions for free?Yes, currently all materials on Speakapp are free to use.
- Can a Therapist suggest materials for the Speakapp Library?Yes, therapists are encouraged to share effective teaching aids. If deemed suitable, Speakapp may procure them for the library.
- What happens when there is a “No Show”?No Show is applicable for both Parent and Therapist/Tutor. If the Parent fails to join the session, the therapist has to update the same as a “No Show” so that necessary action can be taken. Similarly, if the therapist fails to join the session, the Parent can mark the session as “No Show.
- Is there a penalty for No Show?Yes. Speakapp evaluates the genuineness of the session and may take appropriate actions such as rescheduling, issuing warnings, or deducting payments based on the platform’s policy.
- How to handle session rescheduling?Sessions can be rescheduled from your dashboard before the session time. Speakapp recommends giving sufficient notice while rescheduling to maintain professionalism and trust.
- Can I offer discounts to parents?Yes, you may offer custom pricing in special cases, however, the discount policy should be discussed and approved with the Speakapp Admin Team to avoid billing inconsistencies.
- How to view feedback shared by Parents?Feedback provided by parents post-session is visible in the Therapist/Tutor dashboard under “Session History” or “Feedback” section.
- Can I upload my own resources/materials to Speakapp?Yes. Speakapp supports uploading your own materials which can be used during sessions. All uploads are subject to review to ensure content quality and relevance
- How to report a technical issue during session?n case of technical issues, go to the “Help” section in the app, click on “Report an Issue,” and describe the problem in detail. The support team will respond within defined SLAs
